    Judges report is interesting. Echoes a little what Richard Ford said re: the Davy Byrne entries - that there wasn't enough spark and humour in your stories.

    Spark and humour. Hard to put your finger on. Looking forward to reading them. I do highly recommend a subscription to Mslexia, even if you're not lucky enough to be a woman.
