Art @ work - Roscommon
This sounds interesting. Poems in pubs, odes in offices, stories in stores ... you get the picture.
Roscommon County Council is currently seeking interest from artists wishing to participate in the 2009 Art@work programme.
Art@work is a residential programme in which artists from any artform spend three weeks in residence at a business in Co. Roscommon making work stimulated by the environment, materials, staff and working practices of the company. A full list of participating companies will not be available until early April, but previous companies have ranged from newspapers to coal mines, the Fire Service to the GardaĆ, and bakeries to hotels.
egister your interest by email or telephone by contacting:
T: 090 6637285
E: artsoffice@roscommoncoco.ie

Deadline for registration of interest: 31 March 2009
Sounds exciting - hopefully a Roscommon version of the Office will emerge... Imagine
ReplyDeleteV interesting, thanks for that EW. Some of Ballinalsoe is in Roscommon (not my bit...) but maybe that'll let me qualify?!
ReplyDeleteNice work! Have you thought about publishing your literature yourself? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks cf.
ReplyDeleteself publishing has its place but I don't think it would suit my type of writing. Mainstream or nothing, that's my aim.
