Thanks for this post! The weekend is coming together beautifully! Involving the possibility of a reading on the boat out now as well...always a good thing, and two Galway County libraries events on the island over same weekend. They'll be, firstly, an exploration of Latvian poetry, facilitated by me ( Yvonne!) at Inishbofin library on Sunday night and, secondly, a kids' writing workshop with me at the library on Monday morning. Still a few places on the weekend too. Thanks for your lovely blog!

Dear Emerging Writer, I think you might be right! And if your readers contact me by Friday, mentioning that they came from your blog, there may be some pretty helpful discounts available on the already fair course fee, to help some more of them get to the weekend.

I am already offering discounts for Bofin residents and two writers from the Galway area. I know the weekend's going to be fantastic, and I want more people to be able to make it. So if readers of your blog want to contact me with a brief writing bio and a note of why they're interested in the weekend, I'll be able to offer a reduced fee to two people from here.

We'll be able to help source shared accommodation in hostel or B and B too.
