Slam Sunday is a monthly spoken word poetry competition that takes place downstairs the first Sunday of every month with MC Aidan Murphy. 3 minutes max and off by heart.

And on the last Sunday on the month (like this 23rd February) there's another evening called, I think A-Musing which is spoken word, songs and some comedy. Recommended as a great way to round off your weekend. 7pm.
Get there early to ensure a seat and a decent cup of coffee. Maeve O'Sullivan is reading there this Sunday. There's always people sitting on the stairs by the end.
