Halloween Theme - Poetry for the Poetry Bus

Liz at Musings is driving this week and on a Halloween theme, she suggested a Triolet. The hardest part with a triolet is to find two lines that justify the repetition.

The rhyming scheme ABaAabAB, if you're interested.

Here's my ticket.

Oh very clever Kate. My repetitions were merely repetitive - yours turns the thing on its head. Bravo!

You found the lines that could bear the repetition. Honestly, my hat is off to you! Lovely work.

Ooh, that will do so nicely. I'm thinking of calling the pamphlet 'The Carlin's Kist'! Could be the title poem!
