Dromineer Festival
2009 Dromineer Literary Festival poetry and short story competitions.
Prizes: €500 for first place, €350 for second place and €150 for third place.
Fee: €5 for first poem and €3 for additional entries.
Fee: The entry fee for stories is €10 per story.
Deadline: 7 August 2009
Judges: Vona Groarke (Poetry) David Rice (Short Story)
Maximum length is 40 lines per poem.
The maximum number of words is 600 per story.

I attended Dromineer last year, won second prize in the poetry competition. A beautiful corner of the country I had never visited before and a wonderfully welcoming festival. Recommended.
