Hi, I just stumbled on your site and I think it's really impressive. I'm the Doug Jackson mentioned in the 7 December article on slush piles. I've been planning to set up a site of my own, but Transworld say they'll help out in the spring. In the meantime I've started a blog detailing how it happened for me; things like Youwriteon, getting an agent and what they do, that sort of stuff - and then counting down to the big day on July 14. So far I've been looking backwards and I'm worried it's a bit dull, but hopefully it will become a bit more spontaneous when I react to things as they happen.
Give it a look if you get the chance and let me know what you think. You'll get it if you Google Dougsbookblog.

cheers and enjoy your writing

Doug

Hi Doug,

Lovely to have you drop by. Your blog looks very promising. Keep it up. So many blogs have a short but interesting life. I'll ad it to my blogroll on the next update.
I'd be interested to hear what Transworld have to say about what to put in your blog. One thing I have learned to bear in mind is that this is a public forum so you shouldn't say anything that you wouldn't say to someone's face. e.g. if you don't like someone's book or whatever, be nice about it.
