Improbably Frequency

This sounds like a barrellful of laughs.

Presented by the acclaimed theatre group, Rough Magic and written by Arthur O'Riordan, Improbably Frequency has already won three Irish Times Theatre Awards including Best Production and Best Director.

It transports you to WWII Dublin, where a mad scientist, a cruciverbalist and a host of spies and saboteurs threaten Ireland’s neutrality. We come across the well known spy/poet John Betjeman, spy/physicist Erwin Schrödinger and spy/satirist Myles naGopaleen. Expect twists, laughs and music.

"a theatrical tour de force and quite unlike anything else you'll ever see" - The Guardian

“If Tom Stoppard and the novelist Jasper Fforde collaborated on a musical, it might turn out something like this … Riordan’s script has some of the funniest lyrics since The Producers: lines you are doomed to bore your friends with for days after …”  - The Sunday Times

It's on at the Gaiety theatre, Dublin for the next 2 weeks. 13 - 24 March 2012
