I mean, the hair! the size of me! My grandma's chin. Why her chin and not her soft skin? How could that happen to me? And what was I thinking with that cardigan. And the voice. I SO don't sound like that inside my head. Believe me. I am not a fan of cameras. Cringe.
I can't watch these myself but you are welcome to watch these.
Reading at the Locke Bar, Limerick. (The sound is very dodge but a lovely crowd)
Reading at Ignite, Science Gallery, Dublin. 5 minutes, 20 slides. Brilliant fun. Bad Hair.
Also this mp3 of my reading at O'Bheal in Cork here.

Bravo to you! Who gives a fig what you are wearing. We are all our own worst critics. You had the guts to get up and read your poem in front of an audience. Well done.
Whoo Hoo! Where is your accent from (if that's not too rude a question)?
You look lovely, the second one is very clear, great camera work!
thanks Nedine. I don't feel very brave.
Thanks Titus. Accent? Mostly Coventry, but spliced with Glasgow, Kildare and New Mexico.
Wondered why I couldn't quite place it...
WOW! You are brave! I would be shaking if I was up there. This is an inspiration to me as a fellow "emerging" writer. I'm all the way in the USA, but you are inspiring to watch nonetheless!
